Job summary
Woda Cooper Companies, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician for Breton Grove I & II in Grand Rapids, MI. You will perform general and emergency maintenance across apartments and common areas, including turnover tasks, painting, and minor repairs to maintain curb appeal and resident satisfaction.
Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic English proficiency, and maintenance experience. A valid driver’s license, safety training, and the ability to work in various weather conditions
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be able to read and speak English and follow oral and written directions.
- Previous maintenance experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform general and emergency maintenance of apartments and common areas.
- Handle cleaning, painting, carpet shampooing, and minor repairs as directed.
- Determine and address maintenance problems, safety hazards, and potential liability.
- Respond to after-hours emergencies and on-call requests as needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform policy.
- Utilize databases and software programs for work orders and inspections.
