Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the physical aspects of buildings meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

The role includes completing work orders, preventative maintenance, and assisting with make-ready processes, with on-call responsibilities and a 9am–6pm schedule on weekdays. EPA Type 1/II or Universal certification is required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of property maintenance experience required.
• Maintenance or handyman experience required.
• Basic electrical, plumbing and appliance repair experience required.
• Prefer computer knowledge to access maintenance systems such as HappyCo.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant apartments.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials and track inventory.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests.
