Job summary

The Yarco Companies is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance staff and ensure the property remains clean, safe, and well-maintained for residents. You will lead housekeeping, groundskeeping, and technicians while coordinating preventive maintenance and emergency responses.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with relevant certifications (Pool/HVAC) and 3+ years of residential property maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade certifications preferred.
• Pool and HVAC certification preferred; boiler certification if appropriate.
• Three+ years of maintenance experience in residential property management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct housekeeping/janitorial, maintenance technicians, caretakers and grounds keeping.
• Maintain property appearance through regular inspections and upkeep.
• Execute preventive maintenance for resident apartments, public spaces, and equipment.
• Manage purchasing and inventory of parts and supplies.
• Oversee pool maintenance and ensure city codes compliance (if applicable).
• Ensure resident satisfaction and be on-call for emergencies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
