Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to assist in maintaining the property, including preventive and routine upkeep, under supervision. The role includes make-ready tasks and daily maintenance of grounds, buildings, and common areas, with on-site attendance and prompt response to work orders.

Responsibilities also cover safety, compliance with Fair Housing and OSHA requirements, and contributing to a positive resident experience through effective service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance of the property, including corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance.
• Make-ready processes under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
• Maintain grounds, buildings, common areas, and respond to resident/management requests in a timely manner.
• Inspect grounds and facilities daily to identify hazards and ensure safety.
• Support a preventative maintenance program to extend property life and reduce future repairs.
• Adhere to Asset Living key policy and safety guidelines.
• Participate in on-call emergencies and maintain a high level of customer service with residents.
