Job summary

PDA in King County, WA, seeks an On-Call Participant Support staff to provide flexible, trauma-responsive lodging support at CoLEAD sites. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to meet day-to-day needs of participants, focusing on safety, stability, and respectful engagement.

This on-call role requires a minimum of three shifts per month; no fixed schedule. Candidates should be able to stay calm under pressure, practice harm reduction, and collaborate with supervisors and case

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals facing barriers engaging with traditional systems.
• Experience in customer service, hospitality, peer support, outreach is asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site, day-to-day temporary lodging support to participants using a trauma-responsive, harm-reduction approach.
• Support participants with daily activities like room audits, inspections, moves, and lodging stability.
• Document engagement and observations per CoLEAD standards.
• Assist with safety, de-escalation, and crisis awareness as needed.
• Complete basic documentation and incident reports per policy.
