Job summary

Thompson Thrift is seeking a Maintenance Technician – Alta25 to support a multifamily community in Monument, Colorado. You will perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and make-readies on rental units, ensuring safety, quality, and resident satisfaction.

Under the Maintenance Manager and Community Manager, you will handle service requests, coordinate with vendors, and participate in on-call rotations. A valid driver’s license and physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of property maintenance experience.
• Ability to handle on-call duty and emergency repairs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for on-call emergencies.
• Able to lift 50–80 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Colorado applicants: awareness of transparent rent and fee communication.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely manner, prioritizing urgent issues and ensuring quality resolution.
• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general carpentry.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks and support scheduled inspections of building systems and equipment.
• Assist with apartment make-readies and unit turnovers to support occupancy and readiness goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and communicate updates to leadership.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with company standards.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including OSHA and company policies.
• Assist with vendor coordination and notify leadership when additional support is needed.
• Participate in emergency response efforts and on-call rotations as required.
• Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and team members to support a positive experience.
