Job summary

Thompson Thrift is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a multifamily community in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. You will perform service requests, preventative maintenance, and general repairs under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager and Community Manager to keep the property safe, functional, and well maintained.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of property maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and the physical ability to lift 50–80 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of property maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license required for on‑call emergencies.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements, including lifting 50–80 lbs (up to 100 lbs occasionally).
• On‑call duty and emergency repairs availability required.
• EPA, HVAC, or CPO certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests promptly and prioritize urgent issues.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry.
• Perform preventative maintenance and assist with inspections.
• Assist with apartment make-readies and unit turnovers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate updates to leadership.
