Job summary

The Garrett Companies is seeking a dedicated Service Technician at The Baldwin Modern Apartments in Colorado Springs. You will perform maintenance tasks, respond to service requests, and help keep properties safe, clean, and well-maintained.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of multifamily maintenance, and a valid driver's license. Tools must be provided by the technician. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one (1) year working in multifamily maintenance experience required.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• CPO certification preferred.
• Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to service requests and complete within 24 hours.
• Communicate effectively with residents to resolve concerns.
• Partner with leasing team to ready vacant units for move-in.
• Conduct daily inspections of grounds and common areas; perform minor repairs.
• Assist in routine preventive maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical.
• Support audits and inspections for city, fire, and safety reviews.
• Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment (power washers, scrubbers, etc.).
• Demonstrate basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
