Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support maintenance operations across properties. The role involves corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance under supervision, including make-ready activity and daily site upkeep.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic on-site software skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA. On-call shifts are required, with benefits and a total rewards package offered by Asset Living.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and cleaning and maintain accurate, timely chemical logs
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to identify, minimize and correct hazardous property conditions
• Maintain preventative maintenance program that extends the life of the community while minimizing future repairs
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the hazard communications program; teach and promote safe work practices
• Participate in unit inspections as requested
• On-call emergency at community
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with monitoring inventory of equipment and supplies as requested
