Job summary

Avamere at Hermiston in Hermiston, Oregon is seeking a compassionate on-call Caregiver to assist residents with daily living activities across Day, Evening, and Night shifts.

You will help with bathing, dressing, mobility, meals, and light housekeeping, while providing emotional support and companionship to residents.

This role emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and teamwork in a memory care/assisted living setting, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to support residents with daily living activities.
• Ability to provide emotional support and companionship.
• Experience in a caregiving role preferred, especially in memory care or assisted living.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Mobility support: transfers, walking, use of mobility aids.
• Meal preparation: setting up meals, cutting food, clearing trays.
