Horizon House in Seattle is seeking a compassionate Med Tech to assist residents with medications under RN delegation. You will administer meds, document results, and ensure safety and confidentiality in a team-focused environment.

The role requires WA NAC certification, OBRA registry, and CPR/First Aid. Flexibility for on-call shifts and shift differentials is provided. A strong focus on communication and accuracy is essential.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate has WA NAC certification and OBRA registry active.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Proficient computer use and EMR experience required.
• CPR/First Aid certs are needed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Accurately manage and administer medications per physician orders and policies.
• Document medication administration, effectiveness, and any side effects.
• Maintain medication security and confidential records.
• Transcribe orders into MAR within scope of practice.
• Report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff.
• Order and manage new or renewed medications as needed.
