Job summary

Milestone is seeking an ON CALL - Medication Aide/Tech to provide medication management and support Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) for residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will deliver care following resident service plans, communicate with medical professionals and families, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires documentation of daily tasks, collaboration with other aides, and adherence to all local, state, and federal guidelines including HIPAA and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of caregiving experience.
• At least six months of supervisory experience in a health-related field.
• Must be 18 years or older and meet health requirements, including TB clearance.
• First Aid certification required.
• Ability to read physician orders and match them to MAR/Medication Administration Records.
• Certifications as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications per physician orders and MAR.
• Document completion of daily tasks and changes in residents’ conditions.
• Communicate resident needs with other Medication Aides for consistent care.
• Participate in meal service and dining room duties.
• Manage staff under supervision during shifts.
• Maintain required certifications and attend training/in-service programs.
• Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and Blood Borne Pathogen guidelines and report issues.
