Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Paramus, NJ is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist II for an on-call/as needed schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This hospital-based role involves hands-on testing and reporting in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The candidate will perform high-complexity testing, ensure quality control, maintain LIS entries, and adhere to CLIA/HIPAA safety requirements. Prior work experience and MLS certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year full-time experience or training in a clinical lab setting.
• Preferred 3 years clinical experience with current year in present department.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical tests following SOPs and QC requirements.
• Enter test results into LIS for reporting to physicians.
• Maintain safe, clean lab area and assist with training as needed.
• Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety requirements.
