Job summary

Arlington Properties is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician in Orlando, FL to keep units and common areas in top condition. You’ll prep apartments, handle work orders, and perform electrical, plumbing, painting, and HVAC tasks with a safety-first mindset.

You’ll join a hands-on team with ongoing training and support, offering competitive pay and benefits. The role requires flexibility, weekend/on-call availability, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.)
• Proficiency in at least one major trade area
• EPA certification preferred
• Spanish speaking preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all conditions
• Excellent communication and professionalism with residents and team members
• Available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and on-call shifts

Responsibilities

• Prep vacant apartments to market-ready condition
• Handle work orders with skill, urgency, and a smile
• Perform general maintenance including light plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC support, and appliance repair
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and inviting
• Support preventative maintenance and inspections
• Pitch in with snow removal, pool upkeep, and seasonal tasks
• Stay alert and on-call for emergency maintenance needs
• Work safely, efficiently, and with pride—because your work matters
