Job summary

Pivotal is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide high-quality service to residents, maintaining the community's physical integrity. You will handle routine maintenance, respond to emergencies, and keep grounds and curb appeal in excellent condition.

Responsibilities include managing work orders, performing HVAC/plumbing/electrical/carpentry tasks, and supporting turnover between residents with a 3–5 day timeline. A reliable driver’s license and attendance are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• HVAC training and certification preferred.
• Commitment to regular attendance (may include weekend and overtime hours).
• Ability to be on call for emergencies.
• Ability to receive, manage, and close work orders via smartphone applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to all current and future residents.
• Complete resident work orders on a timely basis (24 to 48-hour expectation).
• Apply broad knowledge of general maintenance: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Assist with court-ordered "set-outs" when necessary.
• Perform unit turnover between residents per company standards (3-5 days).
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal.
• Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
• Be responsive to on-call emergencies.
