Job summary

Thompson Thrift is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Saint Augustine, FL to lead day-to-day maintenance for a Class A multifamily community. You will supervise technicians, handle service requests, and ensure preventative maintenance is executed to preserve asset quality and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include managing turn timelines, coordinating with management and vendors, and maintaining safety and compliance with OSHA and Fair Housing standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED (equivalent experience considered).
• EPA certification required; CPO and HVAC certifications preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of apartment/property maintenance experience; 2+ years in a supervisory/lead role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach maintenance technicians to ensure high-quality work and timely completion.
• Oversee daily maintenance operations including service requests and preventative maintenance.
• Manage apartment turn processes to support efficient make-readies and reduce vacancy downtime.
• Execute and maintain preventative maintenance programs with regular system inspections.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors, obtain bids, oversee work, and control costs.
