EMBREY seeks a Maintenance Assistant for Slate Creek at Westover Hills in San Antonio, TX. You will support the Maintenance Supervisor in daily operations, maintain buildings and amenities, and respond to requests to keep the property safe and attractive.

The role emphasizes hands-on tasks, preventive maintenance, and safety compliance in a busy residential setting. The position is full-time, hourly, offering competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare and a 401(k).

Qualifikationen

• One year of maintenance experience in property management or related field.
• Possession of minimum tools required.
• Ability to be available on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
• EPA or HVAC certification is required or preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Aufgaben

• Adhere to the Safety Manual requirements.
• Assist in preventative maintenance, safety, and housekeeping practices.
• Inspect and maintain property, buildings, and equipment in safe condition.
• Assist in unit make-readies, service requests, and general maintenance tasks.
• Ensure grounds, buildings, and units are functional, safe, and attractive.
• Regularly inspect grounds, buildings, and units.
• Correct emergencies and notify supervisor or community manager.
• Inspect HVAC units during apartment turns and check for issues.
• Perform preventive HVAC maintenance and clean components.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear protective clothing.
• Report hazards and correct them promptly.
• Maintain all maintenance responsibilities as assigned.
• Assist in inventories of supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with disturbances and property emergencies during business hours.
• Attend company meetings and safety trainings.
• Perform other property-related tasks as needed.
• Respond to requests in a timely manner.
• Clean exterior grounds and pool area daily before 9:00 a.m.
• Complete other tasks and/or projects as needed.
