Job summary

CHADWICK MANOR in Windsor Mill, MD, is seeking a Regular Full-Time Maintenance Technician to perform repairs to make-ready units and handle on-call maintenance tasks as scheduled by the Service Manager.

The role requires knowledge of plumbing, electrical and carpentry, with SDS/OSHA awareness, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. On-call weekends and after-hours duties are part of the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; on-the-job training or related experience acceptable.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training; equivalent education.
• Knowledge of SDS and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs to make-ready units in a timely manner.
• Be on-call 24 hours as scheduled; respond to on-call paging.
• Assist the Service Manager or Housekeeper as needed.
• Inspect property for improvements and repairs; review with the Service Manager.
• Maintain grounds and assist with maintenance requests.
• Ensure cleanliness and safe operations of the maintenance shop.
