Job summary

The Morgan I in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform make-ready repairs on vacant units and support the Service Manager with daily maintenance tasks. On-call duties are required on a rotating basis, with basic HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry skills valuable for timely unit readiness.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (GED) and may hold a CFC refrigerant certification. Driving license and ability to work in various weather conditions are expected.

Qualifications

• HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry, Electrical skills.
• Knowledge of SDS and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs to make-ready units in a timely manner.
• Be on-call 24 hours as scheduled by the Service Manager.
• Assist the Service Manager or Housekeeper with their work.
• Inspect property for improvements and repairs and review with the Service Manager.
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop.
• Follow safety and operational policies as outlined in the handbook.
