Job summary

Asset Living seeks a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team in Long Beach, CA. You will assist in all maintenance activities across the property, including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic tasks under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

Responsibilities include daily on-site presence, handling work orders, performing make-ready tasks, pool and grounds maintenance, and maintaining safety and EPA/OSHA standards while supporting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic computer skills are required to operate on-site software.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out community maintenance tasks including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency and cosmetic maintenance.
• Attend on-site daily, respond to work orders and perform repairs in common areas, buildings and units.
• Assist with scheduling and execution of maintenance/repair-related turn events.
• Maintain the maintenance shop, inventory and safety compliance.
• Support in make-ready processes and inspections as requested by supervisors.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with residents and management.
• Participate in on-call emergency response and report hazards per policies.

Education
