Job summary

Sentral in Denver is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to fix and maintain mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines across the property. The role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry, with an on-site, on-call schedule.

You will perform preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and respond to emergencies, while delivering strong resident/customer service and working with contracted vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CPO and HVAC certifications are required.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize strong customer service when interacting with residents and guests.
• Perform routine building maintenance including painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC maintenance.
• Conduct safety inspections as scheduled.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and repair as needed.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate with vendors.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls.
• On-call availability required.
• Collaborate with supervisors and follow instructions.
