Sentral is hiring a Maintenance Technician I in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on keeping our residential properties in top condition through painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC maintenance.

The position requires weekend availability and a rotating on-call schedule. Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma or equivalent and proven maintenance experience, with proficiency in hand and power tools, blueprint reading, and strict safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proven maintenance experience or technical college degree/certification preferred.
• Skilled with hand and power tools; able to read manuals and blueprints.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time-management and safety focus required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize customer service and resident/guest needs.
• Perform routine building maintenance: painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC systems.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and on-call rotations.
• Maintain cleanliness of building interiors and exteriors and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors and report supply needs.
