Job summary

Bozzuto in Waltham, MA is seeking a Maintenance Technician who cares for residents through excellent service, preventive maintenance and timely issue resolution. You’ll handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs, prepare vacant apartments for move‑in, and help preserve the safety and beauty of our communities.

This role requires on‑call availability and weekend/evening shifts. After your 12‑month anniversary you’ll be eligible to earn EPA 608 Universal Refrigerant Certification,

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or an education in the trades.
• Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair.
• Availability for emergency situations, on-call rotation.
• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds frequently and 10–20 pounds constantly.
• Reliable transportation and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Professional appearance and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Show care for residents through responsive service ticket resolution and preventive maintenance.
• Resolve HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair issues.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in with turnover repairs.
• Preserve building safety and cleanliness and perform grounds maintenance.
• Provide outstanding customer service to residents.
• Work weekends or evenings and be on-call for after-hours emergencies.
