Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of upkeep tasks across our apartment communities. You will handle preventive maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance while delivering resident-focused service.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of maintenance experience, live within 30 miles of the property, and can work a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays. EPA Type I/II is preferred and you must have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year maintenance experience, preferably in apartment industry.
• EPA certification Type I and II preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property.
• Reliable transportation and rotating on-call schedule as required.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and related systems.
• Other licenses and certifications as required by local/state/federal law.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks to maintain and enhance apartment community value.
• Complete service requests and repairs thoroughly and timely.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with inventory monitoring of equipment, tools, parts and supplies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and uphold customer service standards.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedules and safety programs.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, vendors and supervisors.
