Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our community safe, well-maintained, and welcoming. You will perform routine repairs, inspect grounds, and support the Maintenance Supervisor with inventory and preventative maintenance.

This on-site role requires a reliable transportation and the ability to work weekends or holidays as needed. You will troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance systems, manage hazard communications, and assist with move-in/move-out

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least one year maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment industry.
EPA certification Type I and II preferred.
Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property.
Must have reliable transportation and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule as required.
Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and all other systems at community.
Other licenses and certifications as required by local, state or federal law.

Responsibilities

Ensure all service requests and repairs are completed thoroughly and in a timely manner.
Assist Maintenance Supervisor with monitoring inventory of equipment, tools and supplies.
Maintain excellent customer service standards.
Maintain preventative maintenance schedule.
Communicate effectively with residents, vendors and supervisors.
Assist residents with move-in/move-out and maintenance/repair-related turn events.
Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment per manufacturer guidelines.
Maintain records and contribute to upkeep of office and common areas.
Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service.
