Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to perform a range of building upkeep tasks across an apartment community. You will address service requests, assist with inventory, and uphold safety and cleanliness in common areas and offices.

The role requires basic maintenance experience, HVAC/plumbing/electrical troubleshooting, and the ability to work weekends or holidays as needed. Residents and team collaboration are emphasized, with a focus on preventative maintenance

Qualifications

• At least 1 year maintenance experience, preferably in apartment communities.
• EPA Type I and II certification preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the property and be able to rotate on-call shifts.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and related systems.
• Use of general maintenance tools and safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks and complete service requests promptly.
• Assist with inventory of equipment, tools, parts, and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to safety programs.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedules and budget guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, vendors, and supervisors.
