Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of tasks to maintain and enhance the value of our apartment communities. You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor to handle repairs, preventive maintenance, and safety standards while delivering excellent resident service.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and at least one year of maintenance experience; EPA Type I and II preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience; apartment industry preferred.
• EPA Type I & II certifications preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the property.
• Ability to work weekends and varying schedules.
• Capable of troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and repairs promptly and thoroughly.
• Monitor inventory of equipment, tools, parts and supplies.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program.
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents.
• Assist with move-in/move-out process.
• Participate in on-call emergency rotation.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of work areas.
