Job summary

The Dolben Company, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Full‑Time Maintenance Technician for our Cranston, RI community. You will help maintain 196 apartment homes and ensure a quality living environment through timely repairs and proactive upkeep.

Responsibilities include addressing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues, preparing turn‑over units, and providing excellent resident service. On‑call shifts and after‑hours emergencies are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance preferred and/or 1–2 years of experience preferred.
• Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair preferred but not required.
• Availability for emergency situations and on‑call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Showing care and concern for residents through quality service ticket resolution and preventative maintenance.
• Resolving maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Preparing vacant apartments for move‑in through turnover and improvements.
• Maintaining community safety through upkeep, snow removal and grounds maintenance.
• Providing residents with outstanding customer service.
• Working weekends or evenings and being on call for after‑hour emergencies.
• Operating in line with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
