Job summary

Indigo Living is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician for Sagebrook in Omaha. You will help keep apartment homes move-in ready and support after-hours emergencies with a company-provided vehicle during on-call rotations.

You will collaborate with Property Managers to obtain bids for repairs, manage inventory, and ensure safety and quality in maintenance tasks while maintaining a reliable work schedule that may include weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Candidate should demonstrate leadership mindset and strong communication skills.
• General maintenance experience required; ability to work with various trades.
• Experience with appliance repair, basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review make-ready checklists to ensure apartments are ready for new residents.
• Participate in after-hours emergency team and on-call rotation.
• Obtain bids and negotiate prices for repairs with property managers.
• Order and manage inventory of supplies for the maintenance shop.
