Job summary

UCHI United Church Homes, Inc. OmahaCare Senior Living seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep all areas of the property and surroundings in good order, complete resident work orders, troubleshoot appliances, and coordinate unit preparation for new residents.

This on-site role includes on-call emergencies 24/7, handling electrical, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping and general repairs, and collaborating with the Housing Manager to maintain safety, cleanliness and resident comfort.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of related maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all areas of the property and surroundings in good order.
• Complete work orders as requested by residents via Housing Manager.
• Troubleshoot appliances throughout the property and units.
• Coordinate with office staff to prepare units for new residents.
• On-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergencies.
• Assist with general maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC and landscaping.
