Job summary

ResidentialONE in the Baltimore area is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance of the property under supervision. The role covers electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep to ensure a safe and welcoming place for residents.

You'll handle on-call responses, inspections, work orders, and coordination with vendors, keeping accurate records and contributing to a well-maintained community.

Qualifications

• On-call schedule required, including evenings, weekend and holiday coverage.
• Maintenance experience with multi-family housing.
• Familiarity with Safety Standards Acts, OSHA and applicable safety standards.
• Formal training or experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, refurbishment.
• HVAC certification desirable but not required.
• CFC universal certification desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all maintenance projects.
• Perform light electrical repairs on fixtures, switches, outlets, etc.
• Perform light plumbing work such as clearing stoppages and replacing fittings.
• Repair and/or replace broken glass, tile, carpet, fixtures, appliances, draperies, locks.
• Paint interior/exterior of the complex; prepare surfaces and drywall.
• Carpentry tasks including doors, shelves, trim, and flooring work.
• Assist in custodial work and grounds maintenance.
• Keep accurate records regarding work orders, inspections, and inventories.
• Respond to on-call maintenance requests as required.
