Job summary

The Residence at SouthPark in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine upkeep, respond to resident requests, and manage the make-ready process for vacants. You will ensure grounds and common areas meet Greystar standards and coordinate with vendors for repairs.

Responsibilities include inspecting work for quality and safety, maintaining supplies, and supporting budgeting efforts with the Community Manager. EPA licenses and a valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools and safely use hand/tools and equipment.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills with residents.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and perform routine upkeep.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors.
• Set cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, exteriors, and common areas.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors for quality and safety compliance.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and assist Community Manager with budgeting.
