Job summary

Arqline in Charlotte, NC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day upkeep across properties. You will diagnose repairs, coordinate with vendors, and ensure preventive maintenance is performed on schedule.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and safety regulations. Travel between properties is required; you will manage inventory, respond to emergencies, and lead a small team of maintenance staff, prioritizing safety and quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and three years related apartment maintenance or related field experience.
• Up-to-date EPA Universal and HVAC Certification.
• Swimming Pool Certification (CPO) not required, but a plus.

Responsibilities

• Completes service requests within 24 hours.
• Participates in an ongoing community improvement plan and preventative maintenance program.
• Diagnoses and performs maintenance/repair on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and building systems.
• Maintains inventory levels and orders maintenance supplies with approval.
• Ensures compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations for hazardous materials handling.
• Obtains bids and interacts with vendors; monitors pricing and quality.
• Directly supervises maintenance staff; involved in hiring, training, and performance reviews.
• Willing to respond to 24-hour maintenance emergencies.
• Travels between properties to perform duties.
