Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to assist in carrying out the maintenance processes of the property, including corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance. The Porter is expected to perform regular on-site tasks under supervision to keep the community in excellent condition.

Responsibilities include responding to resident and management requests, participating in a preventative maintenance program, and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic computer skills are required to operate onsite software.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out the maintenance processes of the property, including corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program and ensure safety compliance (OSHA).
• Participate in on-call emergencies at the community.
• Provide excellent customer service and engage with residents to uphold property standards.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and common areas daily to identify hazards and needed repairs.
