Job summary

RPM Living in Spring, TX is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to uphold the maintenance of the community and cover Maintenance Manager duties when unavailable. You will respond to emergencies, complete work orders, and coordinate with residents and contractors.

This on-site role requires EPA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and basic MS Office skills; CPO preferred. The position offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth within RPM

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of multifamily maintenance experience or training.
• EPA certification required.
• CPO – Preferred.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure prompt coordination and response to emergency on-call and after-hours maintenance assignments.
• Complete work orders and maintenance tasks within 24-48 hours, updating records.
• Document maintenance activities and communicate with residents, team members, and supervisors.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, flooring, carpentry, drywall, and exterior maintenance.
• Perform sheetrock repairs and maintain the property’s aesthetics and structural integrity.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety/environmental laws.
• Collaborate with maintenance team, other departments, and external contractors.
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities to avoid issues.
• Assess property safety and cleanliness standards.
• Report supply needs and maintain shop organization.
• Assume Maintenance Manager responsibilities in their absence.
