The John Stewart Company is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician for a live-on-site position in Oroville, CA. The role focuses on preventive, emergency, cosmetic, and routine maintenance with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and resident service.

Responsibilities include responding to work orders, arranging for preventive maintenance, conducting inspections, and coordinating with vendors as needed. A valid driver’s license and on-call availability are required.

Qualifications

• On-call capacity with reliable transportation.
• Must have a valid Driver License.
• Basic math and computer skills; fluency in English.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Strong time management abilities.
• Minimum 2 years’ maintenance experience in apartment or similar setting.
• Knowledge of REAC/regulatory inspections is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Schedules and responds to work orders and coordinates with residents and management.
• Maintains preventative maintenance scheduling and performance.
• Covers cosmetic and routine maintenance within the community.
• Performs unit turnovers and prepares for new move-ins.
• Conducts move-in/move-out inspections and quarterly PM inspections.
• Handles plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and masonry repairs as needed.
• Coordinates and oversees vendor work with Property Manager.
• On-call for off-shift and weekend emergencies as scheduled.
