Job summary

Opaa! Food Management is seeking on-call kitchen staff to assist with daily kitchen operations across multiple sites. Responsibilities include set-up of serving lines, food preparation per menu, and batch cooking while maintaining product quality and proper temperatures.

The role covers maintaining clean workspaces, FIFO stock management, dishwashing support, and timely communication with the Kitchen Manager to ensure smooth service. Heights of responsibility vary by shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or up to one month related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines daily and ensure food is held at required temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean and organized; maintain FIFO inventory and clean storage racks.
• Assist with dishwashing area; monitor chemical usage and maintain equipment.
• Prepare baked goods and present to customers in an appealing manner.
• Batch cook to maintain quality and presentation; restock service lines as needed.
