Job summary

InTown Suites is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to oversee daily upkeep of the property, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to emergencies. You will live on-site during employment and join in occasional Property Attendant duties as scheduled by leadership.

The role requires routine maintenance on guest rooms, safety awareness, and collaboration with supervisors to resolve issues quickly. A strong attention to detail and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Read, speak, write and understand English to interact with guests and staff.
• Follow instructions efficiently.
• Ability to compose and express thoughts clearly for effective communication.
• Ability to manage multiple activities often in stressful situations.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems and equipment; safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure grounds are clean and free of clutter.
• Maintain building by cleaning siding and walkways.
• Keep vacant rooms in good repair (walls, appliances, furniture, carpet, cabinets).
• Perform preventive maintenance on guest rooms on a schedule.
• Respond to service requests in a timely manner.
• Respond to emergency calls promptly.
• Notify Supervisor of safety or guest concerns.
• Reconcile daily paperwork with supervisor before end of shift.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Know location and operation of security and safety equipment.
