Job summary

Magnolia Hospice Austin is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time on-call duties. You will administer hospice care to patients in their homes or care facilities, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team and assuming responsibility for care coordination.

The role requires strong assessment, Plan of Care development, medication administration, patient and family education, and participation in on-call rotations. Travel locally is required; valid RN license and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license in the state; CPR certification required.
• Two years RN experience in a clinical setting; hospice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice care to patients in homes and facilities, coordinating with multidisciplinary team.
• Develop and implement Plan of Care per physician orders and agency guidelines.
• Administer medications and treatments per policy.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and end-of-life options.
• Participate in on-call rotation and scheduled visits.
