Job summary

Magnolia Hospice in Burnet, TX seeks an RN On Call to deliver compassionate hospice care in patients' homes or facilities. The role involves coordinating with the care team, performing assessments, and educating families about end‑of‑life care. Requires active RN license, CPR, and at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience, hospice preferred.

You will participate in on-call rotations, travel locally, and uphold policy standards while supporting patients and families in meaningful ways.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current valid State RN license and CPR certification.
• Two (2) years RN experience in a clinical setting; hospice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer hospice care per physician orders and Plan of Care.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and family; document patient status.
• Perform baseline nursing assessments and implement nursing interventions.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, symptom control and end‑of‑life options.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and travel to patient residences as required.
