Job summary

Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach is seeking a guest services associate for an on-call position. You will maintain knowledge of hotel operations, answer calls, describe room accommodations, and assist guests with special requests, ensuring satisfaction.

This role requires a friendly smile, excellent communication, and the ability to work weekends and holidays. Training provided; on-site work with room for growth across Kingston Resorts properties.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest-facing roles in hospitality preferred.
• Strong communication and client-service mindset.
• Ability to handle guest requests and resolve issues professionally.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls within 3 rings with proper salutations and etiquette.
• Describe room accommodations and amenities to guests.
• Accommodate special requests and update the system accordingly.
• Access guest history to service guests and maintain records.
• Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Present folio and resolve disputed charges.
• Support departments with information on groups, inventory, and guest data.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job description

The Kingston Resorts is a 145 acre oceanfront resort on the north-end of Myrtle Beach. Less than 2 miles from Tanger Outlets and a short 20 minute trip to Broadway at the Beach. This resort is home to the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort, Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach, Kingston Plantation Condos, and Royale Palms. Responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of hotel operations, scheduled daily activities, and room products.
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
• Answer telephone calls within 3 rings, using correct salutations and telephone etiquette.
• Ascertain callers' needs through open-ended questions.
• Describe room accommodations and all amenities.
• Accommodate special requests and designate such in the system following the hotel's standard operating procedures.
• Access guest history records to best service guests; maintain accurate information in guest history files.
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies. Always keep the bank secure.
• Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments/personnel (i.e. special requests, amenity delivery).
• Present folio to guest and resolve any disputed charges.
• Assist all departments/executives in obtaining appropriate information regarding groups, inventory, and guest information.
• Perform additional duties, as assigned.
