Kingston Resorts in Myrtle Beach is seeking a Guest Service Agent for an on‑call, part‑time role at the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort. You will greet guests, handle inquiries, process requests, and help ensure a seamless guest experience amid a busy resort environment.

Responsibilities include answering calls, describing accommodations, and resolving issues with a focus on guest satisfaction. Flexible scheduling is required, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of guest service experience preferred.
• Experience handling guest requests and inquiries.
• Ability to resolve guest concerns with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of hotel operations, scheduled daily activities, and room products.
• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
• Answer telephone calls within 3 rings using correct salutations and etiquette.
• Ascertain callers' needs through open-ended questions.
• Describe room accommodations and amenities.
• Accommodate special requests and document in system per SOPs.
• Access guest history to provide tailored service; maintain accurate records.
• Resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Present folio to guest and resolve disputed charges.
• Assist departments with information regarding groups, inventory, and guest details.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

The Kingston Resorts is a 145 acre oceanfront resort on the north-end of Myrtle Beach. Less than 2 miles from Tanger Outlets and a short 20 minute trip to Broadway at the Beach. This resort is home to the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort, Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach, Kingston Plantation Condos, and Royale Palms. Responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of hotel operations, scheduled daily activities, and room products.
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
• Answer telephone calls within 3 rings, using correct salutations and telephone etiquette.
• Ascertain callers' needs through open-ended questions.
• Describe room accommodations and all amenities.
• Accommodate special requests and designate such in the system following the hotel's standard operating procedures.
• Access guest history records to best service guests; maintain accurate information in guest history files.
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies. Always keep the bank secure.
• Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments/personnel (i.e. special requests, amenity delivery).
• Present folio to guest and resolve any disputed charges.
• Assist all departments/executives in obtaining appropriate information regarding groups, inventory, and guest information.
• Perform additional duties, as assigned.
