Job summary

Tigua Inc. is seeking a General Maintenance Technician for sites across Washington. The role requires scheduling maintenance across multiple land ports of entry and ensuring continuous operations.

The ideal candidate will pass a government background check and drug screening and be comfortable with after-hours on-call work. Responsibilities include repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems, performing preventive maintenance, and keeping detailed records.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
• Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues for timely resolution.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and mitigate risks.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff and contractors to complete projects.
• Provide emergency response and repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment for maintenance tasks.
• Assist in implementing maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Respond to Priority 1 work orders immediately, including after hours; provide status updates in Maximo.
• Respond to Priority 2 within 30 minutes and be on site within 1 hour plus travel.
• Respond to Priority 3 within 30 days.
