Job summary

Tigua in Sierra Vista, AZ seeks a General Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks on equipment and facilities at multiple land port of entries. The role requires the ability to pass government background and drug screening, and may support a government contract.

You will handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and structural components, conduct preventive maintenance, document work orders, and coordinate with contractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building maintenance.
• Ability to pass government background and drug screening.
• Willingness to travel to multiple land port of entries.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
• Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues for timely resolutions.
• Conduct inspections and monthly preventive maintenance to identify problems and mitigate risks.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
• Provide emergency response and repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
