Job summary

CGL Facility Maintenance, LLC is seeking a General Trades Technician to perform routine maintenance across facilities. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and building systems, follow safety procedures, read blueprints, and perform preventative maintenance.

This on-site role requires a high school diploma, 1-3 years in repairs, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a willingness to be on-call. EPA 608 and skilled trade certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years experience in building repairs and maintenance or in the specific area preferred.
• Have general knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Perform work outside in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Willing and able to work occasional on-call shifts.
• Must be a team player with strong work ethic, positive attitude, and reliable.
• Must be computer proficient.
• Requires a valid driver's license in-state.
• EPA 608 Certification preferred.
• Skilled Trade Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance and repair work on facilities and equipment.
• Responds to service requests including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance items.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance to keep machines and buildings in good condition.
• Follows preventive maintenance program for heating and ventilation systems and replaces filters as needed.
• Assists in emergency maintenance; handles leaks, fires, and other incidents as required.
• Reads blueprints, repair manuals and parts catalogs.
