Job summary

Foundation Partners Group is seeking a Transfer Care Specialist in Ocala, FL to be the first contact for families, transporting the deceased from care facilities to the funeral home with compassion and care.

The role requires a 21+ age, ability to lift 100 lbs, a valid driver’s license, and basic Microsoft Office skills. On-call shifts, including nights and weekends, are required as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clear driving record.
• Ability to lift 100lbs safely.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Compassion & Empathy: Answer questions and direct Families to resources upon arrival and departure for transfer of the decedent.
• Safe Transport: Navigate local roads and highways; be familiar with GPS or direction apps.
• Reliability & Availability: Willing to work irregular hours (on-call), including nights and weekends; drive hearse as needed.
• Meticulous Attention: Ensure paperwork is completed correctly and timely per relevant laws and regulations.
• Critical Thinking: Receive instructions for multiple tasks, determine the best order, and complete them promptly.
• Professional Demeanor: Maintain neat appearance; perform other duties (e.g., washing vehicles).
