Job summary

Foundation Partners Group is seeking a Transfer Care Specialist to support families by safely transporting the decedent from various locations to the funeral home with compassion. You will work on-call hours including nights and weekends and may drive a hearse as part of full-time duties.

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record, be able to lift 100 lbs, and be proficient with Microsoft Office. A caring, professional demeanor is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 100lbs safely.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Composure and compassion.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and receive/apply constructive feedback with a positive attitude.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external work processes.

Responsibilities

• Transport the deceased from nursing homes, hospitals, residences or coroner's offices to the funeral home.
• Maintain composure in challenging situations with compassion and kindness.
• Willing to work irregular hours (on-call), including nights and weekends; drive hearse as needed.
• Ensure paperwork is completed correctly and timely per laws and regulations.
• Receive instructions for multiple tasks, determine the best order, and complete them promptly.
• Maintain neat and presentable appearance; assist with washing vehicles when needed.
