Job summary

Foundation Partners Group seeks a Transfer Care Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for families, transporting the decedent from facilities to the funeral home. The role requires composure, compassion, and the ability to lift 100lbs with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities include coordinating transfers, driving hearse when needed, and ensuring all paperwork complies with regulations. On-call shifts, including nights and weekends, are expected as part of on-site operations.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 100lbs safely.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external work processes.

Responsibilities

• Compassion & Empathy: Direct Families to resources on arrival and departure for transfer of the decedent.
• Safe Transport: Navigate local roads and highways under varying conditions.
• Reliability & Availability: Work irregular hours, on-call, including nights and weekends; fill shifts to drive hearse as needed.
• Meticulous Attention: Ensure paperwork is completed correctly and timely per laws and regulations.
• Critical Thinking: Receive instructions, determine task order, and complete promptly.
• Professional Demeanor: Maintain neat appearance; assist with other duties (e.g., washing vehicles).
