Job summary

Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad, CA is seeking an on-call Fitness Instructor to join our spa and wellness team. You will lead cardio and group fitness classes, provide private training, and help guests achieve their wellness goals while upholding safety and service standards.

Requirements include 3+ years of fitness instruction, a College Degree in Exercise Science and/or Personal Trainer certifications from ACE/AFAA/NASM/ACSM, CPR/AED and First Aid, and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of fitness instruction experience.
• College Degree in Exercise Science and/or Personal Trainer Certifications (ACE, AFAA, NASM, or ACSM).
• CPR and AED certified and first aid certification required.
• Weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Lead cardio workouts and group fitness classes with professionalism.
• Provide one-on-one private training sessions.
• Prepare fitness equipment and supplies for activities.
• Ensure guest safety and pleasant visit for each guest.
• Maintain guest relations and follow safety procedures.
