Job summary

Summit Fire & Security, a leading fire protection provider, seeks a skilled Fire Alarm & Security Technician. You will install and service fire alarm and security systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards across multiple sites.

A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally are required, with ongoing training opportunities. The role offers on-site work with extensive benefits and career growth within a national network of locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in Fire Life Safety industry, with alarm experience.
• Strong computer skills and software familiarity required.
• Ability to read and follow codes and standards in fire protection.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service and repair fire alarm and security systems.
• Program and replace components in various fire alarm systems.
• Troubleshoot faults including ground faults and defective devices.
• Document work orders and track materials and time on job.
• Stay current with safety policies, SDS and hazardous communications.
